By now, we all know that climate change is an irrefutable
phenomenon that will impact humanity as a whole. But how? When? To what extent?
“Climate change” has almost become a trigger term because of all the different
interpretations that have been thrown at us. The climate has been changing for
decades; yet, it’s 2020 and the general population still doesn’t know if we’re going
to be in apocalypse-mode by 2050 or if humanity won’t experience noticeable effects
for many generations.

I am an environmental science major on a mission to
synthesize the facts I have learned about climate change and convey them to the
public. The goal of Climadapter is to provide an educated discussion about ways in which humanity is and will be affected by climate
change, and highlight ways in which humanity is trying to adapt.
It is my hope
that this blog will provide clarity in the fog of today’s misinformation and
inspire climate action from its readers. The undeniable truth is that every
member of humanity will be impacted by climate change in some way.
It is our
job to acclimate ourselves to the changing environment in order to minimize its
impact.
